Display Name doesn't come up in search

So I've changed my Spotify display name a few times to see if it would come up in a search however despite how obscure I could make the name, it just will not show up in a search unless I use the username that Spotify automatically generates for you with a bunch of random numbers, hence why I'd rather us my display name because it's easier to share my Spotify. I've tried searching my friends accounts with their display names and it works perfectly well, no idea why I can't do the same. Any thoughts on this? Would really appreciate any help, Thank you!

Thank you for your post.

Your username is designed to identify you on Spotify, so it can’t change. A display name replaces the username where it shows on your profile, app, playlists, and Friend Activity, but it's expected behavior to not be able yo search on it.
