Not at all. You can subscribe, and your playlists, friends, and your music library will stay, as long as you keep using the same username you've been using. Those are independent from your subscription status.

Ok can you tell me where to go?
Here's what happened I had to get a new card and by the time it came my account cancelled

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

After that, check the status of your subscription. In there you should see a link to upgrade your account. If not, you can subscribe here. 🙂

Ok I did that and it takes me to the new account I started and deleted becuz my library wasn't in there. I log in thru Facebook with the current account I wanna upgrade.

You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
