Does Spotify record my play history when offline?

I received an email from Spotify with my usage stats for 2017. Stuff like my top-played artists, skipped songs, and how many minutes I played.  But the data it had didn’t seem to align up with what I would have guessed. The thing is I play probably 60% of my music offline without any connection to the internet and I wonder... Does Spotify count all those minutes?

That's correct! Offline streams are included in your 2017 Wrapped stats and personalised playlists.
