Does a giftcard recipient has to enter credit card information?

So I am considering to buy a spotify gift card to my sister. However, I am almost certain she doesn't have a Paypal account or a credit card for internet payments. You have to enter your credit card information for the free trial - does this account for the gift card as well? In other words, will the recipient be able to use my gift if she doesn't have paypal etc.?

And no, gift card users don't need to enter their credit card informations. You can gift her the card easily.

Are you talking about the 3 months for 0.99 offer?

Unfortunately, gift cards cannot be used with offers. Only credit cards can be used with offers.

If you are not talking about offers and just want to use the gift card to add premium to the account, then no, you do not need a credit card or paypal account. Nico is right.

The person redeeming the gift card would just go here and add it to their account to get premium:
