Doesn't recognise phone number

I am trying to buy Spotify premium even though I've had it for years and it's just decided I don't anymore but it is telling me to enter a valid phone number. My phone number definitely isn't wrong so why won't it recognise it?

Just to confirm, are you trying to subscribe through a mobile service provider? If so, which one in what country?

I'm trying to change the number my subscription is billed to. It will accept different numbers but not mine. It's Globe in the Philippines
