Double account created after responding to 3month/0.99€ offer

Hi,

Spotify kept sending me this 3 month / 0.99 € offer althoug I was already a paying premium member. Today I decided to take advantage of the offer but what it did, is that the payment went for another account (not mine/or it might have created a new one). Accont has some wierd music and a my date of birth is wrong.

Anyhow I would now like to delete the account or at least move the offer to the corect account. Could someone help? I probably need spotify staff support here?

Hey @Ropsu,

 

You'll have to cancel the subscription before you close the account: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/managing_payments/how-to-cancel-your-subscription/

 

After that has been done, wait until the account reverts back to the Free plan. Then you should be able to simply close the account on https://support.spotify.com/close-account

 

Also, the offer is only available to users who haven't tried Premium before.
