My Question

 

I have been double charged for my Spotify account. Up until September I got it free as part of my Vodafone package. I was told this would be ending as an offer and I would be charged on my bill from *edit* September onwards. On this date my Spotify account started playing adverts and reverted to a free account. I went into the app to upgrade again and this was charged to my debit card.

 

I subsequently left Vodafone and on my final bill there is a Spotify premium charge of *edit* dated *edit* September. so I have been charged twice for the same account - via Vodafone and via my card.

It may be best to reach out to Vodafone as they may have more information about the charges to ensure you don’t get billed again through them. However, I’d also recommend checking out this page for more information and the next steps to take regarding the double payment.

 

For future notice, it’s best to make plan changes before the next billing date to avoid being charged.
