Double, payment



Spotify is charging me for 99nok every month, and i can`t stop it.

Can somebody please help me to stop this?

I will start up spotify again, but not for double cost.

First of all I am very dissapointed with Spotify, for having removed all possibilites to contact them privately. As far as I can  see all contact with Spotify now have to go through this community function.


Secondly, I have a similiar problem as you Jan Ketil:

Be aware, you might have two Spotify accounts! One ordinary and one through Facebook. I just found out that my phone automatically logged me on to Spotify, using my Facebook credentials, and that because of this I came to believe that my subsciprition at Spotify had ended. Thus I bought a second subscription. Suddenly I had two similar subscriptions. It was only a coincidence that noticed it.


My problem was not to stop the double subscription, as I found it's cause. However, I also want the refund.


If anyone employed in Spotify read this, can you please look at my case?


I have to say that I have concerns about this new community function. If this is the only way to contact Spotify, and so it seems, how can I make Spotify refund my double payment without having the whole world knowing that I did so? Spotify might have some rethinking to do regarding their privacy policies.

First of all, we'd like to apologise for the delayed response. We understand your frustration and we sincerely regret that this has happened to you.


The problem you are having could be the result of a couple of factors. One of these is the possibility that you inadvertently set up a second account when you were trying to link your Facebook to your Spotify account, or when you were trying to access your account using your Facebook credentials instead of your username and password.


We are sorry that it was too easy for you to have taken a wrong turn when trying to log into your account.
