Downgrading from family, forced into an earlier payment date

Downgrading from family, forced into an earlier payment date

I have had a Premium Account, which last renewed on the 25/7/2016. I've just now accidently clicked "switch to family", thinking there would be another confirmation window. Now my Paypal will be charged on the 16/8 for a family account - fair enough. Except I of course want to go back to my regular Premium Account, but if I do so the renew date remains the 16/8, meaning I'll have paid my $11.99 on the 25/7 and only get 22 days use before renewal, instead of a whole month.

Can you switch my account type back with a 24/8 renewal? Thanks.

Hey @heyheyitstj,

When you upgrade your subscription from regular Premium to Premium for Family, any remaining time that you've already paid for will be converted into a Premium for Family subscription, so this can bring your next payment date forward. You can review your renewal date on the subscription page.

You can cancel your current subscription here.

So there's nothing I can do to get my reguarly Premium account back, along with it's original renewal date? And if I do choose to go back I just have to accept that I've paid my monthly fee for only 22 days of use?

Doesn't seem very forgiving 😞

Once your subscription expired, you could wait until the 24 August/September
