Downloaded songs not working

Help 

So I started with a free trial. And downloaded some songs so I could listen offline. Once my trail ended (today) I signed up for premium so I could continue to listen offline to the songs I downloaded.

WELL NOW ITS SAYING I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THEM ALL AGAIN!!!!!

this is so not fair.

i have already downloaded them last week. Why should I have to pay for premium, when I need to download again. 

I don't have Internet connection, only cell data.

please someone help.

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with Spotify. May i ask which platform you are currently having this issue with?
