Dual Enrollment Students - Student Discount

I am currently a junior in high school. However, my high school offers a "dual enrollment" option. This allows students to take certified college classes through an acredited college both on high school campus and on college campus. I have multiple friends that take classes on the college campus, and they have no trouble getting the student discount. I, however, take two college classes on the high school campus, I am a registered student in the college data base and I have an email address from them, but am not able to get the student discount because it says I am not recognized as a college student.

Do I need to physically get my I.D. first? Is there a way to get the discount?
