E-card not delivered to recipient

E-card not delivered to recipient

I was wondering how long it usually takes for an e-card to get delivered to recipients e-mail? I got my confirmation about the purchase instantly, but the recipient hasn't gotten anything yet. Is there a problem or is it usually like this? Delivery date I selected was today. 6th of January.
