Email account already exists?

Invited a family member with email address interplan@blueyonder.co.uk. The email does not get sent to the address. When inputing through the link that has been sent and trying to sign in that way, it says the email address already exists? I have not set up any accounts using this email before?

I have now tried a new email address interplan7@googlemail.com

The email got through but when I have tried to sign in, it again says the email is already in use.

Am I supposed to send this email somewhere else because all your link does is send me to Spotify page?
