Email account no longer active

Email account no longer active

Every now and then Spotify tells me they have trouble reaching me, and asks to check if my email account is correct. Well, it is not, as I haven't had that account for the past 8 years. However, I can't change it to my current email address either.

 

That's because I've once tried Spotify with Facebook, and it has took that email from there. Now if I try to login with Facebook, it says there's no Spotify account for that Facebook user. This puts me in a situation where it won't allow me to change the email address.

 

I think I've already once written about this to some direct support page at Spotify's website about six months ago. Didn't receive a reply, or possibly a reply to that old email which I made extremely clear not to use...

 

Any ideas how I could solve this, or just ignore the fact that they have trouble contacting me?

 

PS. Couldn't find any info to directly contact support. Is this forum really the only way you do customer support when you have such flaws in the logic of managing accounts?
