How to change my user email address?

Hey @kayan8888,

 

Thanks for reaching out.


You can change your email address by doing the following:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Click EDIT PROFILE.
  3. Under Email, enter your new email address.
  4. Confirm your password.
  5. Click SAVE PROFILE.

And you're done! A confirmation email will be sent to both the old and new email address detailing the changes.

However, my case is not normal because I was using my ex-company email in registration.

 

I forgot my password, i want to rest the password.

When i go to your system to rest my password, your reply was sent to my ex-company email which i cannot access.

 

Please advice how can i do?

I assumed that you simply didn't know how to change the email address because you didn't provide any more info in your initial post.

 

You can reach out to Support and get your account's email changed after you've proven them that it's your account.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

I cannot rest my password because when i go through the normal procedure, the rest password email has sent to my registered email: my ex-company email (which I cannot access no more because I have resigned).

 

How can i reset my passord in such circumstance? (I have no access to the rest password email)
