Email already in use

Email already in use

A long time ago I had link my facebook for my Spotify account. However, I no longer use the username or email connected with the account. I created a new and seperate account with my new email and username. However, my name or picture wouldn't show up. After I deleted my new account with my new email, I tried to change my old email to my new one, but, spotify is now saying that my new email is already in use, even though I deleted my old account.

Hey @Awes1113,

 

By deleting the account you mean you went through the 'close my Spotify account permanently' process?

 

If that's the case, give it 7 days for it to clear. Hopefuly after that, you'll be able to use it again.

Yeah, I went through that process. Thanks for the infomation. I'll wait and see what happens
