Email assoc w/ Spotify registration has been deactivated.

Email assoc w/ Spotify registration has been deactivated.

I'm in a mess here.  The email address I orig used to register w/ Spotify is no longer in use, not only is it not in use, but Yahoo has deactivated that email acct (because it's not an email I use anymore) and they deactivate an email after 12mo of non activity. (this can not be re-activated per Yahoo terms/guidelines if acct has been inactive for 12mo).

So I decide I want to just go ahead and completely close out my Spotify account.  Spotify will send an email conf to complete closing out the acct, but it won't allow me to update my email...says in order to change it I have to go through Facebook to change email.  So I did that.  But what the **bleep** do I do next?  It's not updating the email on Spotify's end...so they're sending me closing confirmation links to an email address that no longer exists or can no longer be accessed/reactivated.

I just want to close out everything and start over.  On top of all of this, I had Spotify premium at one point, although the past month It's just gone to the Free Spotify settings, I have no idea why and I'm still being charged as recent as 3-31-17

Hey @user-removed,

If you contact support from your account, the support reply may probably go to the email you no longer have access to.

Log out of the Spotify website in your browser and fill out this contact form. Someone from Spotify will be happy to help you out.

Make sure you are logged out of any Spotify account in your browser when using the contact form or the username and custom email field will not show up. It is important so that you can enter the information of the account you are having trouble with. If you are logged in with a different account that is not having the problem, that account info will be used and support will be confused.

You should get a reply within 24-48 hours. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.

Alternatively, if you prefer support via Twitter, you can tweet @SpotifyCares.
