Email in use

I unlinked my Facebook account from my Spotify account, and I want to use the email from Facebook for a seperate Spotify account. When I sign up with that email, it says it's in use. I can't login with an email address, and I don't want to login with Facebook, as I have been through the ordeal of unlinking my account. If I try to get a password reset email. when I enter my email into there I get an error message. I just want the email to be completely removed from Spotify so I can set up a new account.
