After so many years of using spotify I suddenly get an email from spotify to verify it again. Is this normal?

Yep, that email is legit, and it's highly recommended to confirm your email address.

 

Spotify is doing this as an additional layer of security for your account. They're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused 🙂
