Enable spotify to see my Facebook friends

Hi there, I've just downloaded spotify for desktop (windows) and I created my account connecting it to Facebook. I have NOT allowed Spotify to receive my "friends info" (darn'!), which I guess results in the fact that I have no friends in my friends feed. However, now I  really need to change this setting, since I want my friends to appear in the feed in order to add songs to a shared playlist created by one of tham.

I've already tried to enable the setting via facebook (Settings>apps>Spotify settings menu) but it does not seem to be possible form there. I tried to log out an log in again, but it did not work. It seems there's no way to change this setting. Can you help me?

Unfortunately there is nothing to do on this end to allow you to see your Facebook friends 😞

You need to check on your Facebook settings, and see if you can change the settings that allow Spotify to retrieve data from your Facebook.

I am afraid Facebook is not my expertise, you'll have to consult with them!
