Error Code 52 not able to install spotify

Dear community!

I have regularly tried to install spotify again and it always says " spotify could not be downloaded" and then there is another message which says that there are problems with my internet connection and/or the firewall. My internet connection works and also my firewall is not blocking Spotify. I don't know what to do anymore. I have seen the other thread that exists here about error code 52 but it is not helpful. I do not have norton, I use Antivir as anti-virus software. But I do not know whether its anitivir that causes the problem, but I doubt that, because I had spotify before, and there never was a problem.

I hope someone can help me! Unfortunately Spotify does not offer any telephone number or email contact. If anyone knows an email adress of Spotify I could write to, please tell me. Thank you in advance!

Can you try a clean installation in safe mode and also disable the anti virus while you install? The solution here is how to do a clean installation:

Note that it's good to have the latest updates on your device, drivers and OS.

Assumed you are on Windows. If not let me know.

If a clean installation won't solve the issue can you provide exact device and OS?
