Error Connecting Facebook Account to Spotify Account

My Question or Issue

How do I successfully connect my Facebook account to my Spotify account? I have two free Spotify accounts, one with Facebook, and the other with my Gmail email address.I tried to connect using the Spotify Android app.

Please before any action make sure you're logged into your FB based account.

You can require more info on the use of Spotify with FB here.

However, it's also important to visit your "Privacy Settings" online here and make sure to turn on "Process my Facebook data".

Thanks for getting back to us - let's see what else we can suggest here.

If you're trying to connect the Spotify-created account (the one linked to your Gmail) to your Facebook account, then you won't be able to do so while your other account is linked to Facebook.

Just to confirm, do you want to merge the two accounts, or do you want to keep both of them, but have the Spotify-created account linked to Facebook instead of the other one?

Let us know! Once we have that confirmed, we'll know what to suggest next.
