Explicit albums/songs?

When only the censored children's version (US version) of an album/song is available, is that a decision made by the record company or Spotify? For example, I'd really like to check out 50 cent's new album but I just can't listen to censored songs.

Spotify make all content they receive available, so anything that is missing is normally always down to the label.
