Extending Student Subscription - Payment Method

Hey there,

I received an email that my student subscription is going to expire in a week and Spotify offers to extend the student subscription. Currently I am using "SOFORT" as payment method (Germany), but when i want to extend my student subscription i can not choose this method anymore. It only provides Credit Cards, Paypal and Klarna as payment method, but i do not want to use any of these methods. 

Is that a bug in the system? Is it possible to still use SOFORT as payment methoed and extend the student subscription?

Hey @Cimoe,

Unfortunately, you won't be able to use the payment method "SOFORT" for this if it's not being offered to you on the payment page so you'll have to choose a different payment method if you'd like to continue the student discount subscription.
