Facebook Account Name Remains After Removal

My Question or Issue

 I was trying to disconnect my facebook account from my Spotify account. However, after going into facebook and disconnecting the spotify app I have found that my facebook username still remains as my spotify account name. How do I now go about removing the facebook name?

I did not create my account with Facebook. I connected it after creating my account. However, it gives me no option to remove the account under social. Instead, it tells me to connect to a facebook account, despite my username being from the facebook account.

That's odd. Let's try the suggestions on this support page, as you might have more than one account, and you're logging in to the one that isn't linked to Facebook.

Once you find the correct account, you can follow these steps to disconnect it.
