Facebook account replaced?

Hi,

I had a facebook spotify account, but had to make a new spotify account. I didn't want to lose saved songs and playlists and read that connecting this new account to my facebook should automatically merge both accounts. However, it would seem my previous account is all but gone. Was it replaced? Are all my saved songs and playlists gone?
