Facebook account won't connect

As of yesterday (with the Facebook glitch that happened), my Spotify account won't display my Facebook name or contact photo, and just the username I had when I first made my account before linking it. I keep on clicking "connect facebook account" in the settings tab of the desktop app and once I close and open the app, it resets and says "connect facebook account" again. Tried it on my phone as well and didn't work. Any solutions?

thanks for posting in the community !

Please reach your account page online here and click "Sign Out Everywhere".

then, on the same page select the "Privacy" section on the left side of your page and make sure your opt with your FB details.

Do the same steps on your FB settings page.

Make sure Spotify has all permissions needed to oparate with your FB account.

Log back in and let me know if it helped 😃

I tried logging out of all accounts on spotify and disconnecting from facebook and it did not work 😞
