Facebook created account

Hi there,

I originally created my account via Facebook method.

I have now signed up to premium with a new account created with Spotify (current username).

The problem is, when I try connect this account with my Facebook it says it is already connected to another Spotify account.

Now I have read that I can close the account I created with Facebook entirely, and went to do it however it tells me that I cannot create another account with this username.

My question is, can I still link this facebook account to my current one? I am afraid I will close the Facebook created account and then I still cannot connect my current account to it as its been closed permanetly.

Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙂

EDIT: I have noticed that I can login to my Facebook account -> go apps -> all apps. Remove Spotify from there.

Then go back to Spotify on this account, click connect to Facebook, it will pop Spotify back into my all apps but I will get "Sorry there has been a temporary error, please try again later" in Spotify.

Try to log out from the facebook account and enter as you always enter facebook, write your email adress and your facebook password

I tried to login via my facebook email and password and it tells me I have used these credentials as a facebook sign in account or something, wont let me in if I try that method
