Facebook login details don’t work when logging in via web

I am trying to login to a desktop and am entering my Facebook login details (email userid and password) for my Premium account. And it just does not seem to work. It pushes me to go via logging into my Facebook account - which I would rather not on other laptops. Also I then I find out there is a separate Spotify account with the same email address registered against it. How is this possible?!? Do I just neee to cancel account and register again without Facebook?? And also how do i transfer across all my playlists and people who subscribe to me?
