Facebook login issues

I recently got spotify through my facebook account and was told that i could use my email address as my username..

I know i've entered my password correctly and

I have entered both my email address and the numbered code i was given as a username.

It won't log me in. I keep getting the message not to use my email address for login, but the number code isnt working either.

I have tried to directly contact spotify but that was unhelpful.

Um, help?
