Facebook login switch not possible

I run Spotify on IOs and MAC desktop - i am simply trying to change my facebook login association from the old facebook login to my new one as i have a new facebook account but whenever i attempt to link the new account from within the desltop OR web app i get the usual too many redirects failure.

Logged out of the facebook login in the spotify app

Unlinked the Spotify app from the old facebook account

Deleted and reinstalled the spotify app on all platforms

Deleted and reinstalled the Facebook app on all platforms

Cleared all caches you can imagine.

No go - nothing - nada

I have gone through this community group with 100s of mesages on how to solve this - no luck. Could someone within spotify maybe do it for me at the spotify end?

In order to create a quick fix to the issue you're experiencing you'll need to gain access to the old Facebook account, disconnect it completely and wait a short period of time for your account to apply the changes.

hi this never worked - i found out by myself in the end that the app had been blocked because of privacy issues in the facebook settings as you can see below - hope this helps and can be of assistance in the future
