Fake account

Hi! Apparently, someone is using my name & picture for a Spotify account. I tried reporting them but there is no report button available on their profile?! Is it automatically generated, maybe through Facebook? The weird thing is, I have NEVER downloaded or even used spotify before a few weeks ago when I started sharing an account with my best friend. Not sure what to do.

I completely understand your concern here, Could you try taking a look at this page about finding lost accounts as in some cases you may have accidentally hit a button previously meaning that a account was created but you never touched it! 🙂

You could also attempt a password reset to see if you receive the email if not this account isn’t associated to you and I’ll be happy to get you to the right people to report this!
