Falsely Charged For 2 Premium Accounts

Hello Spotify Community,

 

About three weeks ago I decided to join spotify in Australia.

 

The premium trial was $0.99 for three months which I thought was a good idea. I signed up and am currently on a premium tril which works fine and I am generally happy with the service.

 

The problem that I have is that I also persuaded my girlfirend to join spotify she also signed up on the same trial, this thing is that she was charged $11.99 and did not recieve the trial. I signed her up before the offer had expired, I have read all of the forums and the only answer I could get was that she had already used a trail ( this is impossible because she has never used the app nor downloaded it). My immediate assumptions were that there was a confusion as I have used my credit card to pay for both accounts. 

 

I would like to reiterate that we are both happy with the service and intend to be long time members of spotify but I am annoyed as to why she couldn't get the same trial as I did. 

 

I hope this can be resolved quickly and easily or we will happily cancel our accounts and sign up with another music streaming provider.

Hi.

I believe this is due to the use of same debit card for both accounts. But if it wasn't stated in the terms and conditions you can contact Spotify support here:
