Family Plan and OLD iOS devices - can't login

Solved!

Family Plan and OLD iOS devices - can't login

I have the family plan.  I also have a lot of OLD iOS devices.  I this case I am using an iPod Touch that won't upgrade beyone iOS 4.  I was able to download an older version of spotify.  When I try to login, I am only able to login with my "root" account for my family plan.  If I try to login with my daughter's account (which I why I want to use this device - it's for a little kid), I get stuck on THIS SCREEN (see attached) with now way to complete login... any ideas on this (or since this is an ancient iPod will I have to live with only my root account working?)  Thanks.can't get past this screen when using one of the family "sub" accounts to logincan't get past this screen when using one of the family "sub" accounts to login

Hey @tdsimon,

Unfortunately there's not much you can do about this because the device is no longer supported by Spotify's System Requirements. You can view them at https://support.spotify.com/article/spotify-system-requirements/.

@tdsimon, like @Maxim said, unfortunately you can't do much about this which is disappointing. Sorry to hear this happened I had an iPod touch on IOS 6 which was able to get an earlier version which worked for my personal account but I don't know about famil. Sorry!

So if you get your root account that will probably be the only account to work since that older verison is before the big Spotify overhaul where they added family plans.

thanks for the help.  I appreciate it.
