Family Plan

Family Plan

Approximately 2 weeks ago I upgraded to the family plan so my kids could both listen to spotify at the same time on different devices.  Unfortunately, it isn't working properly.  When one is using spotify and the other accesses their own play list, the original user gets knocked off so two people can't use at the same time.  I have already invited them and they completed the process so what is the problem?  Thanks

Hello!
Are your kids using two different accounts or just one? Everyone has to use their own accounts.

Have a great day!

Sounds like the same problem I am having. I posted earlier this morning:

https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Accounts-and-Subscriptions/Family-Plan-streaming-from-account-...

We are on the family plan premium account with separate user accounts, and cannot stream simultaneously without getting kicked off.

So did you figure out what to do??? 😄

Hey @acstone23 @mbthom @lynnbarger

Thanks for posting. Are you guys still experiencing this?

Let me know 🙂

Thanks

Catherine

I just upgraded to Family plan 1 + 1.
My girlfriend was invited and is registered as my +1.
And her spotify says Premium.
But when she plays a track and i try to play a track. Her spotify pauses and says the account is used by another user.
Its within the last hour i upgraded to family.
My big question is, "Does family plan (Me+1) give the right to play on 2 devices simultaneously"???

I am a new family plan user and have this same problem.  How do I solve it?
