Family account for mixed nationality couple

Family account for mixed nationality couple

My wife and I have had separate accounts for about a year now and we have just upgraded to the Family Account. However, because we are a mixed nationality couple, she is having trouble joining the account. She gets a message saying that she needs to be from the same country as the account owner. We are living in the same home, using the same credit card (based on a North American account). Only her nationality is different. How do we get around this limitation?

I recommend reaching out to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Handle @SpotifyCares, Facebook Page Spotify Cares, or through the online contact form.

If you submit the contact form instead of the Twitter or Facebook Message, make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify.
