Family member died, want to keep lists

Family member died, want to keep lists

I have a premium family account, based in the UK, mainly using an android device.

So one of the people who is on my family account recently died.  She had created a wicked playlist to listen to while undergoing chemo...Live and Lie Die, Stayin' Alive, Knocking on Heaven's Door...you get the picture.  She was awesome!

I obviously want to take her phone number off my account now, but if I do will her playlist still exist, and will her partner still be able to access her playlists through the standard free Spotify? I don't want to do this if it's going to erase all her music.

Thanks for any advice and info.

Hi @vickythegooner, thanks for writing.

I'm sorry about your loss. But don't worry, all the playlists will remain active, as well as her account, even after you remove it from your Family plan (the account will then turn to Free instead of Premium).

You can also make a copy of her playlists, selecting/copying/pasting all songs to a new playlist created by you, so you can add songs to if, if you wish.

Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
