Family premium help

I just downloaded and got all family members on family premium but how do I cancel the premium subscription prior to starting the family package or does it automatically stop the premium package I had just for myself seeing that I am the one who subscribed the family package for my family

When you upgrade your subscription from regular Premium to Premium for Family, any remaining time that you've already paid for will be converted into a Premium for Family subscription, so this can bring your next payment date forward. You can review your renewal date on the subscription page.
