Family subscription ended because payment was not done, how to recover this?

 

 

My Question or Issue

The payment could not be done I think. Never got any email about it from Spotify. Now premium family is suspended. How to recover this?

Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!

If your Premium plan was suspended because of failed payment, you need to subscribe for it again. In this case, you can access your account page to subscribe to the Premium Family and set it up with your family members.

Just for your information, you can avoid future issues with the payment by opting for recurring methods like a credit/debit card. Spotify always sends emails and pop-up messages in the app to alert you about problems with payment and give you some days to fix it, before suspending the plan. You can take a look at your notifications preferences on the app settings and turn them on.

Thank you very much, so I asume it is not possible to recover the current subscription and I have to invite all family members again.

Exactly! Once your plan is suspended, it's not possible to resume it. In this case, you need to re-subscribe and set the plan up with your family members.
