Family with a student

I have a family plan for me and my wife. My wife is a student at a college. Is it possible for me to add a student to my family plan? Basically instead of being an extra $5 for her she would get the 50% off of the $5 and it would be $2.50. I have seen a bunch of posts about not letting students add family, but what about letting a family add their students at half the price of the student price?

According to the Spotify Family Plan FAQ article, any discounts cannot be applied to plan accounts. Basically, with a Family Plan you are already getting a discount so that you can enjoy Premium at a better cost with your family.
