Free Premium Trial Ad

Hey guys! I've been hearing an ad on spotfiy lately: if you refer a friend to get a 30 day free trial you will get a 30-day as well.

How does this work? When I click on the banner the only thing that happens is that it brings up is this.  I asked my friend who I am currently referring to visit this page and it didn't show anything about me on the page.  What can I do to refer?

I love this service, but I don't wanna hear the ads anymore! 🙂

I've heard of referring 5 friends and getting free premium before, but not just one. Details that I can find on the US referral program (its a bit tricky when you have a UK account) are here:
