Free account but being charged £9.99

Free account but being charged £9.99

£9.99 has been taken from my bank and Vodafone have confirmed its not through them and I need to contact Spotify to get the money refunded. I only have a free account. How do I go about getting this sorted please?

Hi @Jadecain thanks for posting in the Spotify Community! 

 

I think that's something that the accounts team might want to look into, you can reach them through this contact form. While you wait for a reply from them I'd suggest digging through any email accounts to see if you have anything from Spotify, just in case. You may find a receipt with a username or something like that, which would speed up the process a whole bunch. 

 

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

I replied to the email from Spotify but didn't receive a response. I have asked the bank to not let them to continue taking the money as I have no authorized it and I only have a free account. I don't k ow how to go about getting the £9.99 back that I've paid for no reason.
