Free month trial, but I was charged $4.99?

Yesterday morning, I decided to try out the free month trial and put the payment on my Paypal account. But when I checked my bank account, I was charged $4.99 from Spotify, and a one cent charge twice. Not sure if the penny charges were for tax?

Did you get an email receipt from Spotify for your subscription purchase?

In it, it shows the Spotify username you paid for:

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

You can login to the website with that username to check the status of your subscription, and your receipts.

If you didn't get any email receipt, sometimes the amount gets 'on hold' even if the charge doesn't go through. Normally the amount gets back to your bank account a day or two later.
