Friends can't search my account in Spotify

Whenever my friends try to search up my Spotify account by username, even with spotify:user:username, it never shows up. I created an account today, and my username on the settings page in the Spotify website shows random characters in random orders, but my display name is different. I do not have a Facebook account, and I did not make my account with Facebook.

Hi @brrndonph, welcome to the community!

That's odd. Did your friends conduct the search on the desktop app? As far as I know, I think that search function works only on the desktop app. What you could do in the meantime is share a link to your profile with your friends if you haven't done so already.
