Getting new account without loosing my old data?

At the moment I am using my parents Spotify account and was using my NUS card to get Spotify Preimium half price. I don't seem to be able to keep getting it half price with the same account again with my new NUS card. What I am wanting to do is create an account of my own.

Is it possible to to somehow transfer my saved music, top lists, reccomended artists and similar to my new account? Or will I have to loose everything I have at the moment? I'm also not sure if this will affect me on this forum or not. I may be wrong but if I remember correctly, I often have to log in with my parents details to acces this forum. Does this mean that I will have to register here again and call myself a different name?

It should be simple enogh getting a new account. It is just weather I will be able to keep my same name on the forum and transfer my data to the new account.

I really don't know much about how to do this. If it is possible, I would appriciate some help.

Hello!
It is possible. Just make a new account and then contact Spotify support:
https://support.spotify.com/contact-spotify-support/
Tell them you want to transfer your playlists etc.
If they will reply with a no-reply email, reply to it, even though it is a no-reply.

You could create your new account and then follow your first one and methodically re-like everything so that you can basically transfer them.

Thanks for the advice. I actually ended up being able to keep the same account and get the Student discount by NUS again. It took quite a lot of working out but I got there in the end. It saved having to copy all the information accross.
