I get this error after the first page (before payment details):
Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area
I've tried selecting different amounts, different payment methods (cc and paypal), but that error always appears before I am asked about any payment information.
Does Spotify read these messages? I submitted a request through the contact form but haven't heard back.
Hi there!
Have you already filled the contact form?
Check your inbox, you should have received an automated message, you must reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify employees will get you back as soon as possible.
Why do I have to respond to it? It says:
"We just wanted to let you know that we're looking into your query and we will get back to you as soon as possible."
It also says:
"This is an automated e-mail so please don't reply to it."
You must reply to it.

I think there was no need to reply to the automated email. Did it include a case number? It looks like this as it says they will come back to you. Replying to those mails is only neccessary if they don't include a number and lead you back to the community.
Just be a little patient until you receive an answer. They will send you a message for sure 🙂 (the aim is to answer tickets within 24 hours).
i got this problem before.
Tried to contact @spotifycare, they checked my account, and said it's the problem of my email address, i changed it but doesn't work.
then they insist it's my credit card problem, i told them it's surely not because I do not have the chance to input my cc info.
after several replies, they ignored me, no matter i send them email nor seeking help from twitter.
by the way, i don't found any solution to solve this problem, but when i try to purchase gift cards several days after, it worked again!
so, you can try you lucky some day later.
