Gift card recognized but cannot add it to my account

So I had a spotify Premium subscription for a long time from my ISP. After cancleing TV because we never use it the Premium subscription provided by my ISP was of course also gone. While I still had Premium I got a spotify gift card for my birthday (useless at the time), recently I remembered still having them so I wanted to activate one so I could use Premium again.

 

Though the code is correct as it says "1 Month Premium" when I want to actually activate it on my account it says "Oeps! Something went wrong. Please try again." (Translated from Dutch "Oeps! Er is iets fout gegaan. Probeer het opnieuw.").

 

Ps. Why does spotify not have a contact email for these kinds of things, this system is so clearly broken (this is why I am not going to actually pay my own money for spotift, I'll probably get Apple Music after this or maybe Google Play Music...)

You can contact Spotify via their contact form on "About", at the bottom of the page, or tweeting to @SpotifyCares (ENG), @SpotifyAyuda (ESP) or @SpotifyAjuda (PT).


If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

Don't forget to check your Spam Box 😉

Sent them a PM, 50 min ago, still no reply (though they've anwsered other peoples questions...)

 

Seriously why is the system so broken?
