Gift cards in foreign country

my daughter is using a german Spotify Free account. She is now living in Egypt and we want to offer her some Spotify Pro months as a birthday gift. Can she redeem this (online) gift card from there?

Unfortunately that's not possible because Spotify isn't available in Egypt at the moment and Gift Cards can only be redeemed in the country they're bought in. 😞

Hm, that's a pity. Is it not possible to use her german account from Egypt?

With Spotify's Free service, she can use Spotify in a different country for 14 days.
If she's staying abroad for more than 14 days, she'll need to change her account's country setting. And since Spotify is currently not available in Egypt, it's not possible to do so.
