Giftcard pin doesn't work

Hi! I bought a giftcard to use premium for six months and when trying to redeem the code it just states that the code is invalid. I'm 100% sure that the code i typed is correct. Already contacted the place of purchase and they told it should run smooth. Well it dont. Please help me out with this?
