Giving a Spotify gift card - I am in Australia he is in USA

Hi - I went to buy a Premium Spotify gift card for a friend in the USA, I am based in AUS and would pay for it with an AUS credit card. Can I then gift it to him in the States ? I noticed there was an Australian flag in the purchase window so I backed out.

Any help appreciated.

I don't believe you can use gift cards cross country. I will have this looked into for you however 🙂

I hope this is achievable as I want to give it as a Christmas present. Please let me give you more of my money.

You can redeem cards only in Spotify countries. Or redeem it in your country (create account) and give this card to someone from any place in earth.
